7kg_PICT0053-webNot only can fruit be frozen to be processed when convenient, but semi-finished products like a raspberry puree can be too. It saves space in the freezer and allows to split jam-making time. 



2.5 kg of raspberry puree made two months ago…


… + red currants given frozen by a friend in July, which made 1.5 kg of puree today…


… + 3kg of sugar… = 7kg of ready to cook sweet puree… = 18 Bonne Maman like jars of a very tasty wild raspberries and red currants from a friend’s garden jam.
