I dug the plant bed near the well today with the old garden spade. We used to eat lots of strawberries from that bed, surely we will get some more.
This is the depth of the well in “le jardin d’Aurillac”. A useful supply of fresh water for young fruit trees and, if the water proves to be clean, for vegetables and soft fruit.
Getting rid of the ivy on the big wall. Long job if done alone. Yet, little by little…
Inertia can put the patience of prospective gardeners to the test. It sometimes takes time for things to happen, for instance until the owners of unmaintained gardens welcome change.
