In the last two years the garden I visited in August 2016 has flourished under its owner’s tender care. June is a great time to see apricots and peaches in this now luxuriant orchard.
I am now following Florida Fruit Geek, an American blog ‘celebrating the abundance, diversity, and health benefits of food that grows on trees’ in warmer climates.
I have planned to visit the Potager du Roi in Versailles this weekend. Another orchard created for a European reigning figure of the 17th century to be renovated, which I am keen to discover after my visit to Kroměříž in Moravia in October. Continue reading

I am going to represent the French association LES CROQUEURS de pommes® at the international exhibition of local fruit varieties EUROPOM 2017 that will take place in the Czech Republic in October.

I am now a board member of the French non-profit organisation LES CROQUEURS de pommes®. The association is aimed at promoting biodiversity through the identification and protection of regional fruit varieties, carried out in collaboration with various organisations in Europe.
