Christmas highlights
Family gathering and special treats were at the menu of our Christmas delights in Aurillac.

In contrast with « le jardin de Saint Simon », « le jardin d’Aurillac » is in poor condition, for lack of proper care. Will it stay like that ?
From ground to crown
Not a single part of the 30 September harvest will be wasted. Windfalls have been used from ground to crown* and turned into gold and rubies.
Good harvesting
We picked apples in « le jardin de Saint Simon » yesterday. We look at what we did well and could have done better, and provide a link for further guidance on when and how to harvest all kinds of garden fruit.
Tree size matters
Thinking about who is going to harvest may help choose the right size of tree when planting.
Soft fruit: using a muslin or a food mill to remove seeds makes different jams. To me, the food mill is a clear winner in terms of processing efficiency and convenience.
